Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
Corporate Real Estate Portfolio & Lease Governance
- Own end-to-end governance of the India corporate real estate portfolio, including offices, labs and support facilities
- Lead all lease transactions: acquisitions, renewals, amendments, exits and handovers in coordination with Legal, Finance and business stakeholders.
- Maintain complete transparency of lease data, including commercials, escalations, renewals, critical dates, risks and compliance.
- Provide strategic recommendations on lease renewals, consolidations, exits and long-term portfolio optimisation.
- Ensure strong documentation, audit readiness, CAM reconciliations, rent validations and deviation approvals
Facilities Operations & Site Management
- Provide strategic and operational oversight of facilities management services, including workplace services, MEP systems, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, security and front-of-house operations.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory and corporate standards (EHS, fire & life safety, building compliance, security, and vendor compliance).
- Drive operational consistency, service quality and readiness across multiple sites.
- Lead operational risk identification and mitigation, including business continuity and emergency preparedness.
Real Estate Projects & Workplace Delivery
- Lead real estate and FM projects, including expansions, relocations, consolidations, retrofit/renovations, new site setups and fit-outs.
- Oversee project planning, design coordination, budgets, schedules, and delivery aligned to corporate workplace standards.
- Drive modern workplace strategies including space planning, utilisation optimisation, employee experience and future-of-work initiatives.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal business disruption.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as the single point of contact for senior internal stakeholders(Business Leadership, Finance, HR, IT, Security and EHS).
- Build and maintain strong landlord relationships and manage escalations effectively.
- Lead and govern the external vendor ecosystem, including IFM partners, property managers, project vendors, leasing agents and specialist consultants.Negotiate contracts, define SLAs/KPIs, review performance and drive continuous improvement.
Financial Management & Cost Optimisation
- Develop, manage and control real estate and facilities OPEX and CAPEX budgets with strong financial discipline.
- Drive cost optimisation initiatives through space efficiency, energy management, lifecycle planning and service optimisation.
- Track financial performance, analyse variances, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions proactively.
MIS, Reporting & Data Analytics
- Establish and lead robust MIS and reporting frameworks for leases, occupancy, utilisation, costs, FM performance and projects.
- Develop leadership-ready dashboards, scorecards and executive presentations for India and APAC stakeholders.
- Ensure high data accuracy, consistency and governance across systems and sites
- Translate data into actionable insights to support strategic planning and portfolio decisions.
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Deep expertise in Corporate Real Estate, Lease Administration, and Facilities Management.
- Strong understanding of Indian statutory requirements and global corporate standards.
- Proven experience managing large, multi-site office portfolios.
- Excellent vendor governance, contract negotiation and commercial acumen.
- Strong financial management, budgeting, and cost optimisation skills.
- Advanced MIS, reporting, Excel and presentation capabilities.
- Superior Communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, facility management, business administration, or a related field.
- Master's / MBA or professional certifications (FM, PMP, RICS) will be an added advantage.
- 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management and Real Estate Project Management
- Prior experience in a multinational or large corporate office portfolio
