Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • IAM Strategy & Governance:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's IAM strategy, aligning with business goals and security requirements.
  • Establish IAM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOX, ISO 27001).
  • Conduct risk assessments related to identity and access management, providing mitigation strategies.
  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day IAM operations, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, role management, and access reviews.
  • Manage the lifecycle of identities across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and third-party systems.
  • Monitor and manage IAM-related incidents, ensuring prompt response and resolution.
  • Technology & Security Management:
  • Lead the implementation and administration of IAM solutions, including SSO, MFA, PAM, and identity governance systems.
  • Ensure secure integration of IAM systems with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure AD, AWS IAM) and on-premises environments.
  • Implement security controls and best practices to protect against identity-related threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Manage and mentor a team of IAM analysts, engineers, and administrators.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to support IAM-related projects and initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to ensure the effective use of IAM tools and processes.
  • Audit & Compliance:
  • Support internal and external audits related to IAM, ensuring compliance with security standards and policies.
  • Prepare documentation for audits, including access control policies, procedures, and audit logs.

Required Skills & Technologies:

  • Core IAM Technologies:
  • Expertise in Active Directory (AD), Azure Active Directory (AAD), LDAP, Okta, SailPoint, BeyondTrust, or other IAM platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA, RBAC, PAM, and identity federation protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Security & Compliance:
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
  • Cloud & Integration:
  • Experience with IAM in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Strong integration skills with APIs, cloud applications, and third-party identity providers.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership, project management, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on risk mitigation and security.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
