Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead and manage HVAC system design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities for thermal power projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Design & Engineering: Develop detailed HVAC system layouts, ducting, piping, and equipment specifications. Utilize advanced design software and simulation tools to optimize system performance, energy efficiency, and reliability.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise closely with equipment manufacturers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of HVAC components, resolving technical challenges proactively.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Implement stringent quality control protocols and ensure all HVAC activities conform to regulatory, environmental, and safety standards, including Adani's internal policies.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Establish preventive maintenance schedules and lead root cause analysis for any HVAC system failures or inefficiencies, driving continuous improvement and minimizing downtime.
- Cost Management: Prepare and monitor HVAC project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement processes to deliver projects on time and within budget without compromising quality.
- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation, safety awareness, and skill enhancement aligned with Adani's learning philosophy.
- Energy Efficiency & Sustainability: Champion green HVAC solutions and energy conservation measures that support Adani's commitment to sustainable growth and reduced environmental impact.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, project reports, and compliance records. Present progress updates and technical insights to senior management and clients as required.
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Promote and enforce HSE best practices during all HVAC operations, ensuring a safe and hazard-free workplace for all team members and contractors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university. A Master's degree or specialization in HVAC or Thermal Engineering is preferred.
