Role Overview
As the
HR Manager for izmo Microsystems, you will
lead and manage the HR function for our manufacturing unit in Whitefield. You will be responsible for building the HR team, managing end-to-end HR operations, recruitment, statutory compliance, and ensuring a positive and compliant workplace environment for both staff and factory personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Leadership & Operations
- Lead and manage the HR function for the manufacturing unit, including HR operations, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit including documentation, letters, and HRIS management.
- Ensure timely payroll processing in coordination with the central HR/payroll team.
- Implement and maintain HR policies, processes, and systems in alignment with company standards.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Drive end-to-end recruitment for diverse roles across production, engineering, operations, and support functions.
- Partner with department heads to understand manpower requirements and deliver quality hires within timelines.
- Conduct onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, supervisors, and management to ensure a positive work environment.
- Address grievances, facilitate conflict resolution, and conduct regular employee connect sessions.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and communication programs.
Statutory Compliance & Industrial Relations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and reports as required under the Factories Act and other employment laws.
- Liaise with labour authorities, consultants, and auditors as needed.
- Support internal and external audits, including labour law and ISO audits.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Coordinate the performance appraisal process, data collection, and salary revision cycle.
- Prepare HR dashboards, metrics, and monthly reports for management review.
- Continuously improve HR processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Experience, Skills & Prerequisites
- 10+ years of experience in HR operations and recruitment within a manufacturing, factory, or plant setup.
- Proven experience in statutory compliance and labour law administration.
- Strong stakeholder management and people-handling skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Kannada.
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS tools (knowledge of GreytHR preferred).
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Ability to build, mentor, and grow the HR team at the plant.
