About The Team /role Overview
This Manager- HR Innovation role sits within HRIT's Employee Data Management (EDM) team. The team partners closely with HR, HRIT, and enterprise stakeholders to ensure accurate HR master data, stable upstream/downstream processes, and scalable solutions across SAP HCM OM/PAwith an eye toward modernization and EC readiness. In this role, you will lead requirements and functional design, drive cross-functional impact assessments (org changes, security, integrations), and own endtoend testing to deliver highquality, compliant HR data operations. You will lead and mentor junior analysts, uphold governance and documentation standards, and represent HR/EDM in enterprise initiatives that improve data quality, employee experience, and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement discussions with HR, HRIT, and business stakeholders to define features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Serve as the subjectmatter expert in SAP HCM OM/PA, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and governance of HR master data.
- Lead crossfunctional impact assessments for organizational updates, integrations, security changes, and downstream dependencies.
- Oversee endtoend testing cycles, including planning, execution, regression, integration, and UAT.
- Provide clear, proactive communication to HR and IT partners throughout analysis, design, testing, and deployment cycles.
- Review and approve functional specifications/functional testing document, ensuring alignment with business requirements, system best practices, and governance standards.
- Collaborate with developers, functional analysts, and solution architects to validate solution feasibility and technical alignment.
- Drive dataquality improvements and conduct rootcause analysis to prevent recurring issues and stabilize HR data processes.
- Maintain documentation, decision logs, and auditcompliant records to support data governance and regulatory needs.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote knowledge sharing, strong analysis practices, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Represent HR and EDM in enterprise initiatives, contributing to roadmaps, modernization planning, and process optimization efforts.
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, HR Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum eight years of experience in SAP HCM OM/PA, including configuration, HR master data, and downstream integrations.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to anticipate downstream impacts across systems and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to think independently, evaluate complex issues, and drive solutions with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to write highquality business/functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear, auditready documentation such as decision logs, functional/business specifications, and test evidence.
- Proven leadership experience in endtoend testing cycles, including planning, execution, and defect management.
- Experience troubleshooting issues across multiple interfaces, downstream systems, or integration points.
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams to drive alignment and resolve data or system issues.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, or reporting tools) to perform audits, validations, or reconciliation.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders and influence decisions.

- Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Agility or similar platforms.
- Experience with HR data migration, HR integrations, and dependency or impact analysis across complex HR ecosystems.
- Handson experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central, especially helpful given future-state readiness efforts.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional HR, IT, and business stakeholders in enterprise modernization or transformation initiatives.
