Job Description

Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager – Human Resources

Location: Pune

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (6 Days Working)

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented, and hands-on HR professional to lead our Human Resources function for our BPO and IT business verticals. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of building high-performing recruitment teams while driving employee relations, administration, compliance, and HR operations.

This role requires someone who can own the complete HR lifecycle, ensure timely closures of critical hiring mandates, and maintain high operational standards across all HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment for BPO and IT hiring across multiple business units.
  • Drive hiring closures within defined TAT while maintaining quality of hire.
  • Build and lead a high-performing recruitment team to consistently achieve hiring targets.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies with a strong emphasis on:
  • Employee Referral Programs
  • Networking-based hiring
  • Passive candidate engagement
  • Social hiring initiatives
  • Monitor recruitment dashboards, hiring metrics, pipeline health, and productivity.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce requirements and manpower planning.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Administration teams.
  • Set KRAs/KPIs for team members and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Drive accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within the HR team.
  • Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture.

Employee Relations

  • Act as the primary HR business partner for business leaders.
  • Resolve employee grievances and disciplinary matters professionally.
  • Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
  • Drive retention initiatives and employee satisfaction programs.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, HR processes, and statutory compliance.
  • Maintain 100% SLA adherence across all HR deliverables.
  • Oversee onboarding, confirmations, documentation, attendance coordination, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Ensure timely HR reporting and MIS for management review.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and SOPs.

Administration

  • Supervise administrative operations supporting business continuity.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day office administration.
  • Monitor vendor coordination and facility management as required.

Process Excellence

  • Develop and implement HR best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Ensure HR processes are standardized and scalable.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making through HR analytics.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Proven expertise in bulk hiring and lateral recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of Employee Relations and HR Operations.
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS and Applicant Tracking Systems.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and execution excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

  • MBA/MSW/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience for Manager and 10–15 years for Senior Manager.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience leading HR teams.
  • Prior experience handling BPO and IT hiring is mandatory.
  • Experience managing Recruitment, Employee Relations, and HR Operations.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume hiring while maintaining hiring quality and TAT.
