Role Purpose
The Manager HR will act as a strategic business partner to the Site Head and the Head of People, ensuring the effective and seamless functioning of the Formulation Plant. The role is critical in maintaining statutory compliance, fostering a positive and harmonious work environment, and driving employee engagement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Corporate HR to manage manpower planning, budgeting, and salary negotiations, ensuring alignment with workforce plans.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for all new hires.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with full-time employees (FTEs) and third-party workforce.
- Act as a trusted advisor to line managers, supporting resolution of employee grievances and workplace concerns.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, while proactively recommending improvements where required.
- Support the resolution of disciplinary and grievance cases at the plant level.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across all applicable areas.
- Provide accurate guidance on employment contracts, labor laws, and HR policies.
- Drive awareness and understanding of company policies and procedures across all employee groups.
- Manage grievance-handling processes and facilitate disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, including events and cultural activities.
- Roll out learning and development initiatives to enhance employee capabilities at the plant.
- Take ownership of HR audits and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to processes and documentation readiness.
Desired Candidate Profile
- MSW or MHRM
- 810 years (or more) of experience managing HR and Administration in a manufacturing environment
