- Landscape & Garden Management
- Plan, design, and supervise landscaping and beautification projects.
- Ensure maintenance of lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, and flowering plants.
- Implement seasonal plantation schedules and crop rotation plans.
- Monitor plant health and ensure proper irrigation, fertilization, pruning, and pest control.
- Develop integrated pest & disease management (IPDM) strategies.
- Maintain soil health through testing and corrective measures.
- Oversee nursery operations including propagation, seedling management, and inventory.
- Manage procurement of plants, fertilizers, equipment, and horticulture tools.
- Ensure cost‑effective utilization of resources and materials.
- Lead and supervise horticulture staff, gardeners, and contractors.
- Provide training on modern horticultural practices and safety standards.
- Develop work schedules and ensure timely task completion.
- Maintain records of plantation, maintenance activities, and inventories.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare reports and present updates to management.
- Introduce modern landscaping techniques, water‑efficient irrigation systems, and eco‑friendly methods.
- Plan sustainable initiatives like composting, waste reduction, and native species plantation.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Botany, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in horticulture, landscape management, or nursery operations.
- Strong knowledge of plant species, soil science, irrigation systems, and pest/disease management.
- Experience in managing teams and contractors.
- Good communication, planning, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Landscape design software knowledge (optional).
- Experience with sustainable landscaping practices.
- Ability to handle large-scale horticultural projects.
