One of the key value services at BDO India is Business Advisorya centre of excellence that combines technical expertise in public health and sustainable healthcare, with a strong focus on climate and health. The team works across thematic areas, including health systems strengthening, diagnostics, surveillance, digital health, research, human resources for health, hospital operations and management, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and policy research.
The practice primarily undertakes policy, strategy, and evaluation assignments with multilateral organisations, with engagements spanning India, Southeast Asia, and Africa.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Candidate should have a key understanding of Health systems and program strengthening, Digital health and sustainable healthcare
- Candidate should have an understanding of performing gap assessment and evaluation/assessment studies
- Candidate should have exposure to climate and health projects and an understanding of the intersection of the two areas.
- Candidate should have managed end-to-end execution of projects
- Experience in performing the risk assessment from a climate and health perspective
- Experience in developing policy and designing the strategy of programs related to health
- Would have already developed proposals for Multilateral and bilateral Organizations and executed them
- Would have the experience of working with the Government on health programs & systems strengthening through Multi lateral organizations like the World Bank, ADB, WHO or any other
- Determine client needs, expectations & participate to develop, lead, and execute the overall client service plan
- Work on proposals, thought leadership, and concept notes
- Demonstrate leadership, team management, problem-solving and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Consulting experience (preferred) 8- 10 years
