Role: Reliance Carbon Fiber - Head - Health, Safety, Environment and Fire (HSEF)
Education: Bachelors Degree in Safety/Environment with an Engineering Background
Experience: 11 to 14 years
Job Description
- Translation of Reliance & statutory EHS regulations into practical internal procedures.
- Develop & make available systems & tools for HSEF training.
- Plan & monitor execution of HSEF audit.
- Ensure timely sharing of reports within Reliance & to statutory authorities.
- Closely monitoring & reporting of HSE performance across the Site (Audits, KPIs etc.).
- Main contact for Reliance Loss Prevention Team.
- Ensure 24X7 deployment / availability of Fire Fighting resources and also appropriate training of the team.
- Support site team in process safety management (PSM).
- Ensure LOTO (Hot work / confined space etc.) are followed as defined in the safety system.
- Ensure emergency response plan is up to date & regular emergency drills are performed.
- Ensure health & condition of Fire & safety tools (Including Fire Tenders) are maintained & tested following RIL & statutory standards.
- Maintain & keep up to date the Product Safety Data Sheet of the Raw materials / auxiliary chemicals & products.
Preferred Experience
- Professional having Bachelor's degree in safety & environment engineering from a reputed university. Or
- Bachelor with industrial diploma in HSEF along with proven track record in the respective field.
- 10+ years of experience in managing site HSEF preferably with manmade fiber manufacturing industry.
- Experience of leading a site HSEF team with complex continuous processes and 24/7 shift rotation
- Exposures and network in acrylic fiber, Carbon Fiber and composite community. Experience in leading Fire Fighting teams along with knowledge in handling hazardous chemicals environment.
- Hands-on, shopfloor leadership skills (Communication skill / Presentation Skill / Analytical aptitude).
