Manager, Learning & Development, Deloitte Tech Academy
Location - Hyderabad

The team
The Deloitte Technology Academy will be a leading-edge, branded educational institute that develops new age digital skills, offering a comprehensive cross-business curriculum, blend of solutions, dedicated faculty, and strategic partnerships that differentiate Deloitte as the premier organization for technology skills development. When operating at full scale, we expect Deloitte Tech Academy to train tens of thousands of learners annually in critical technology skills including AI, Cloud, Cyber, custom development, and package technologies.
As a Manager, you will manage a portfolio of high volume, high visibility programs building AI and GenAI skills across the firm. You will build strong stakeholder relationships and influence critical developmental decisions. You will support the realization of the strategic vision of DTA and the team while contributing to thought leadership leading to growth and impact.
You will collaborate with multiple teams to exhibit agility in driving connection across a diverse and cross-functional set of stakeholders. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Lead the endtoend design, development, piloting, delivery, and evaluation of innovative learning and capabilitybuilding solutions that enhance the performance and growth of Deloitte professionals in technology roles.
- Collaborate closely with the Development Leader, business leaders, and Applied AI SGM stakeholders to design, deliver, and continuously refine a comprehensive curriculum of development experiences aligned to business and talent priorities.
- Lead the end-to-end design, delivery, and evaluation of a curriculum of development experiences, collaborating closely with the Development Leader, business leaders, and Applied AI Strategic Growth Market (SGM) stakeholders.
- Establish and standardize program processes to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
- Lead continuous improvement by maintaining and updating program curriculum based on learner feedback, performance data, and evolving business and learning requirements.
- Lead cross-functional project teams (including Development Specialists, as applicable) to design, develop, and deliver high-quality programs and processes on time and to stakeholder expectations.
- Partner with U.S. colleagues to align program design and execution, ensuring consistency and a cohesive experience across geographies.
- Prioritize, plan, and drive execution by applying program management principles in a learning environment to achieve program goals and measurable outcomes.
- Establish clear structures, processes, and governance to enable a seamless, consistent end-to-end learning experience.
- Operate proactively with minimal supervision, demonstrating ownership, sound judgment, and follow-through.
- Apply a consultative approach to assess current state, define future vision, identify gaps, and translate insights into actionable roadmaps.
- Maintain active curiosity and awareness of emerging AI trends, translating relevant developments into implications for learning strategy and design. Conduct market and competitive research on technology learning (India and U.S.), synthesizing trends into recommendations and differentiation opportunities.
- Negotiate effectively with stakeholders to achieve win-win outcomes and sustain alignment across competing priorities. Build, manage, and influence key stakeholder relationships across talent and business leadersbringing a clear point of view (POV) and constructively pushing back when needed.
- Develop, review, and quality-check strategic deliverables that support the direction, operating model, and priorities of DTA.
- Align project teams and stakeholders to design and implement innovative learning solutions, including digitized content, individualized learning paths, and learning in the flow of work.
- Lead delivery across geographies in a remote environment, using strong project management to track scope, timeline, budget/financials, risks, issues, and dependencies while ensuring quality outcomes. Manage resources and budgets to ensure effective, efficient delivery of curricula, programs, and processes.
- Cultivate an inclusive, high-performing team environment grounded in mutual support, shared accountability, and continuous improvement. Lead, inspire, and coach team members through delegation, feedback, and development, supporting junior talent across formal and informal reporting relationships.
- Leverage data and analytics to produce periodic reporting, identify opportunities, test ideas, improve solutions, and measure program impact.
- Present insights and recommendations to DTA Leadership, articulating a clear POV supported by data and stakeholder context.
- Communicate with executive-ready writing, producing clear, logically structured, grammatically sound emails and documentation.
- Provide functional expertise to resolve complex problems, structuring ambiguity, conducting research, and driving resolution to closure.
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree; at least 8-10 years of related experience
- Demonstrated, end-to-end project/program management experience: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project close
- Demonstrated consultative approach: excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills, including experience owning client relationships with senior leaders
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking virtual environment
- Experience in analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple sources to identify themes and develop recommendations
- Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce deliverables that carry a stamp of excellence.
- In Excel, aggregate data, conduct complex analysis, and display results visually
- In PowerPoint, translate data into insights and tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience that conveys clear, actionable recommendations
- In Word, create clear, concise communications with a user-friendly layout conducive to cognition
Preferred:
- Experience working in a learning and development organization
- Prior consulting or professional services experience
- Degrees or certifications in Adult Learning, Organizational Psychology, or Human Resources
- Strong strategic-thinking skills with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices
- Proven experience successfully leading a project portfolio including scoping, planning, budgeting, and delivering multiple concurrent, complex work streams in a matrixed organization
- Experience taking a consultative approach to designing and delivering innovative learning solutions with measurable business results
- Strong stakeholder management abilities across a range of levels and across teams. Outstanding interpersonal skills that build relationships across levels with a capacity for influence, collaboration, and consensus-building
- Excellent communication skills and a good executive presence
- Experience in creating data-driven insights and trends
- Some amount of travel could be required based on role responsibilities
- Experience of working in learning for technology skills like (programming languages, Cloud, AI, Cyber, blockchain, Analytics etc.) will be an added advantage
- Foundational knowledge of AI and GenAI, prompt engineering, and including use of tools such as ChatGPT (or equivalent), Copilot
