The Hitachi Group has been moving towards realizing One Hitachi HR functions and talent management under its new management policy, Inspire 2027, which began in FY25. This is a very important initiative for improving our corporate value and further growth. We are looking to grow our team to help accelerate the creation of One Hitachi systems, policies, mechanisms and foundations.
The Talent Management CoE (Centre of Excellence) team at Hitachi support business growth and sustainable competitiveness by continuing to pursue the right design for HR systems, policies, and processes based on expertise and a One Hitachi perspective.
What you'll be doing
In this critical role you will have opportunity to work with HR, business leaders, and key stakeholders to help build a highperforming workforce designing the frameworks that help our people thrive and which support longterm organisational growth. Collaborating with the HR teams of Hitachi Group companies globally, the Global Talent Management CoE team will implement HR strategies across the Group.
You will be directly involved in activities that strengthen the Hitachi Group's future growth and business foundation and will be able to play an active role as an HR professional. You will also be able to broaden your horizons by working as one global team, (there are 15 team members located across Asia, EMEA and the Americas) and by being exposed to world-class HR methods and expertise.
Responsibilities may include:
Mid-long term One Hitachi talent management strategy
Succession planning and talent pipeline for key positions
Talent pool management and talent
Next generation leader development
Global performance management

What you bring to the team
We're looking for a team player, who is motivated by delivering great work and the Hitachi vision. The role will be a mixture of remote-hybrid work with occasional travel to the Hitachi Office.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and background:
We are seeking a seasoned HR professional (Mid-Senior) with approximately15 years of overall experience, who has progressively evolved from hands-on HR roles to strategic talent management positions within complex, global matrix organizations. It will be helpful if you have spent time as a HR Business Partner and have recent experience focused ondefining and executing global talent management strategies at a global level.
Experience in HR strategic planning and/or CoE HR
Perseverance and the ability to see work through to the end.
Ability to actively communicate with executives and stakeholders, build trusting relationships that transcend positions, and collaborate to advance workAbility
to think positively about new challenges, consider solutions from a first-person perspective, and tenaciously tackle them while involving others
Logical thinking, planning, and data analysis skills.
Open-minded communication skills to build relationships with others.
Business English proficiency. Japanese language proficiency is a bonus but not required.
Project management basics such as PMP/Prince 2, are desirable.
