This role is responsible for driving financial decision support in close partnership with business leaders, identifying opportunities to improve performance, and delivering high-quality, actionable insights to senior management.

The FP&A Manager acts as a critical bridge between US corporate strategy and regional execution, with a specific focus on Europe, Canada, APAC, and LATAM. The role extends beyond traditional financial reporting, focusing on building robust financial frameworks that enhance regional performance and drive enterprise-wide efficiency.

This position leads a team of finance professionals and plays a key role in transforming finance from a transactional support function into a strategic, data-driven value center, embedding digital capabilities, automation, and AI-led insights into FP&A processes to enhance speed, accuracy, and business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Regional Financial Management
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to International Finance VP, providing actionable insights that support business growth and operational decision-making.
  • Partner in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), long-range planning, and quarterly rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with global guidance.
  • Oversee end-to-end P&L management across multiple geographies, including revenue, cost control, and margin optimization.
  • Drive standardization of financial processes and reporting frameworks across regions to ensure consistency and comparability.
  • Finance Transformation, Systems & Process Excellence
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives aimed at simplifying processes, improving turnaround time, and enhancing accuracy.
  • Drive end-to-end automation of management reporting by building scalable and standardized reporting structures across regions.
  • Develop and implement automated dashboards and reporting packs using tools such as Power BI/Fabric, reducing manual intervention and dependency on spreadsheets.
  • Continuously accelerate the management reporting cycle by streamlining data flows, eliminating redundancies, and improving data availability timelines.
  • Leverage Oracle EPM tools including PBCS (Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service) and FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Service) to strengthen planning, consolidation, and reporting processes.
  • Perform detailed reconciliations between Oracle systems (PBCS/FCCS) and management reporting outputs, highlighting variances and driving closure through structured root-cause analysis.
  • Ensure alignment between financial systems and reporting outputs, maintaining data integrity and a single source of truth across platforms.
  • Expand GCC capabilities by transitioning high-impact activities from regional teams into the centralized finance hub.
  • Advanced Analytics & Decision Support
  • Deliver in-depth variance analysis, focusing on root cause identification, forward-looking insights, and scenario planning.
  • Shift from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive analytics using advanced data models and AI-supported techniques.
  • Develop forecasting models that incorporate business drivers, macroeconomic trends, and risk scenarios.
  • Partner with controllership and operations teams to develop robust reporting on working capital, including receivables, payables, and inventory KPIs.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making through automated dashboards, KPI tracking, and real-time performance insights.
  • Stakeholder & Leadership Management
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish clear performance metrics, conduct regular reviews, and build strong succession and development plans.
  • Navigate a complex matrix organization, balancing regional business priorities with global corporate requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including operations, sales, IT, and corporate finance teams.
  • Champion a data-driven culture by enabling stakeholders with self-service analytics and intuitive reporting tools.
  • Understand stakeholder requirements, set expectations, proactively address concerns, and escalate appropriately.
  • Monitor progress against objectives and provide regular, actionable feedback.
  • Digital Finance, AI & Automation Enablement
  • Drive adoption of AI and advanced analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy, automate variance analysis, and improve insight generation.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities across FP&A processes including data extraction, reconciliation, and reporting (RPA, Power Automate, or native ERP capabilities).
  • Build intelligent reporting frameworks integrating financial and operational data to deliver near real-time insights.
  • Champion a data-driven culture by enabling stakeholders with self-service analytics and intuitive reporting tools.
  • Explore and deploy emerging technologies such as GenAI-driven commentary, AI copilots, and predictive dashboards to improve productivity and decision quality.

Technical & Professional Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Management Accountant / MBA from Tier-2 Institute
  • 12+ years of post-qualification experience, including significant exposure to GCC/GIC environments.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting for listed entities.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle EPM tools including PBCS and FCCS, particularly in planning, consolidation, reconciliation, and reporting.
