Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate application functionality, providing recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities.
- Determine and document optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications; configure and verify application setup and configuration.
- Develop expertise in emerging application and solution trends and functionality; provide functional recommendations for assigned applications and systems.
- Conduct analysis of potential application solutions, identifying and recommending solutions to address functionality gaps in the application.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant vendors; work with vendors to improve application functionality and resolve functionality issues.
- Partner with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts, and architects to gather, document, and review functional, architecture, and technical requirements and define application functional designs.
- Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures, and functionality associated with assigned applications for projects and application support (as needed).
- Create and manage functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution.
Skills and Experience:
- 10-12 years of extensive and proven hands-on configuration and implementation experience in S/4 HANA 2023 or up to 2 prior versions.
- 8-10 years of extensive and proven hands-on configuration and implementation experience in S/4 HANA 2023 or up to 2 prior versions.
- Designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions across multiple countries, ensuring the successful delivery of complex, large-scale SAP projects across multiple geographies, with knowledge of localizations.
- Leading the design and implementation by providing best practice guidance for SA LE, EWM implementations, and optimizations with S/4 HANA 2023.
- Delivering functional expertise and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules (e.g., FICO) and non-SAP peripheral systems.
- Demonstrated hands-on configuration experience in designing solutions, creating proof-of-concepts showcasing potential solution options.
- Highly desirable to have cross-module experience and debugging knowledge of workbench objects, to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues or provide direction when customization is needed or justified.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders and SI Partner to translate requirements into scalable, efficient SAP solutions by providing best practice guidance for SAP SD capability implementations and optimizations.
- Driving the full project lifecycle for EWM: from blueprinting and design to configuration, testing, and go-live, and providing overarching subject matter expertise to the AMS team.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for SAP SCM, MFG, and EWM, leading cross-functional teams collaborating internally with CCOE teams and leaders, along with mentoring business process leaders and business resources new to SAP.
- Ensuring proper integration with other key modules and edge applications such as Basware, High Radius, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, within the Cummins ecosystem.
- Supporting the global rollout of SAP solutions across multiple countries, ensuring adherence to local legal, fiscal, and business requirements.
