Job Description

We're looking for a Manager - Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be a highly driven and self-motivated professional with 7-10 years of post-qualification experience. You will play a critical role in strengthening our financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring all processes align with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: You will be responsible for generating financial reports from Oracle and preparing detailed, qualitative analyses. You will also create standardized work for various analytical tasks across all functions.
  • Process Improvement: You'll work closely with the Oracle team to develop new reports to reduce manual work. A key part of your role is to standardize and streamline monthly and weekly forecasting and reporting processes. You will also implement and execute the company's standard budgeting process.
  • Audit Support: Provide necessary analytical support during both statutory and internal audits.
  • Training & Mentorship: You will provide training and guidance to cross-functional teams on data analysis. This role also requires the ability to manage and train people within and across functions.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: A Qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI is a must. An MBA from a reputed institution, or a Cost Accountancy/CPA from AICPA, will be an added advantage.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of total post-qualification experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years in an MNC in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: You must have a good hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Proficiency with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP is also required.
  • Domain Knowledge: A good understanding of business dynamics and the ability to provide critical insights based on financial data is essential. You should also be well-versed in Indian Accounting Standards, IFRS, and the Indian Companies Act.
  • Personal Attributes: This role requires a creative, highly driven, and self-motivated individual with very high integrity and a strong focus on compliance.
