Job Summary
This role is a role within the Financial Crime Analytics team in WRB. Its responsibilities entail:
- Use advance analytics, ML and AI for the identification and prevention of bad actors in the WRB customer portfolio (i.e., money mules, fraud, scams)
- Develop ETL processes from various data sources
- Ensure data quality and reliability, implementing quality checks, monitoring and troubleshooting
- Create and maintain scalable data pipelines together with MLOps team
- Ensure solutions adhere to SCB's model, risk, compliance and responsible AI standards
- Align with CFCR 2LOD functions for the risk and governance processes, supporting regulatory activities
- Align with TTO/CDO on the analytics platform and the data feeds utilized for the development and hosting of the financial crime analytics models.
- Keep up to date on current developments in the financial crime landscape and advances in AI.
- Collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including Senior leadership, Governance, Compliance, Technology and Operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or data science
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field
- Proficiency in Python, SQL and knowledge of database systems
- Experience in warehousing, ELT/ETL processes
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
- Understanding of analytical and statistical methods
- Understanding of ETL pipelines
- Understanding of Financial Crime Risk
- Strong collaboration and communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
