Job Description

Job Summary

This role is a role within the Financial Crime Analytics team in WRB. Its responsibilities entail:

  • Use advance analytics, ML and AI for the identification and prevention of bad actors in the WRB customer portfolio (i.e., money mules, fraud, scams)
  • Develop ETL processes from various data sources
  • Ensure data quality and reliability, implementing quality checks, monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Create and maintain scalable data pipelines together with MLOps team
  • Ensure solutions adhere to SCB's model, risk, compliance and responsible AI standards
  • Align with CFCR 2LOD functions for the risk and governance processes, supporting regulatory activities
  • Align with TTO/CDO on the analytics platform and the data feeds utilized for the development and hosting of the financial crime analytics models.
  • Keep up to date on current developments in the financial crime landscape and advances in AI.
  • Collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including Senior leadership, Governance, Compliance, Technology and Operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or data science
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL and knowledge of database systems
  • Experience in warehousing, ELT/ETL processes
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Understanding of analytical and statistical methods
  • Understanding of ETL pipelines
  • Understanding of Financial Crime Risk
  • Strong collaboration and communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Problem solving and Analytical Thinking
