POSITION DETAILS

Designation: Manager Finance

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Reporting to : GM - Finance, RCIS

Position Summary

Responsible for Business partnering for CIS countries and Russia. Supporting in the Key finance process including Financial closure, MIS preparation, Budget preparation and controlling the expense.

Overall Job Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Management Reporting: Monthly/Quarterly Actual performance of the business - Sales, PL and CF along with variance analysis against last forecast, Budget and previous year.
  • Management Reporting: Monthly/Quarterly Preparation of forecasts with respect to Business PL and CF.
  • Other elements of Management reporting including Debtors, product-wise gross contribution & profitability, Capex outlays, Inventory and forecasts for the same.
  • Co-ordination with cross-functional team for inputs relating to business forecast.
  • Support with respect to any ad-hoc requirements related to submission to Corporate.
  • Keep track and control over Trade Receivables and Collections.
  • Provide explanations and solutions to business to mitigate the risks and to achieve budget/forecast.
  • Profitability of Top products and brands in MIS.
  • Budget Lead the Annual budgeting process, co-ordinate with country teams to prepare Budget financials along with detailed analysis of the same.
  • LRP Lead the Long-Range Planning process, co-ordinate with country teams to prepare LRP financials along with detailed analysis of the same.
  • Support with preparation of presentation decks for monthly/quarterly business meetings for Business Head, Finance Head, Country Head etc.
  • Continuously focus on finding new scope for automation in reporting to save time/effort in Management reporting.
  • Business case evaluation for new product launch.
  • Identify, investigate, and analyse potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (SOPs, policy, procedures, processes, etc.).

Accounting & Controlling

  • Monthly closing with respect to accounting for ex-India business including representative offices.
  • Manage monthly remittances to representative offices after scrutiny and in timely manner.
  • Inter-company payments and transaction reporting.
  • Assist with Annual audits and quarterly limited reviews and other audit requirements e.g. Internal Audits (including any ad-hoc requests).
  • SPOC for any audit queries relating to the BU and ensure providing all relevant documentation to auditors.
  • Involved with Processing of IFRS additional reports - inter-company transactions and related-party reports.

Business-Partnering

  • Verification and handling all claims from Customers and keeping track of the same.
  • Manage all payments from Head Office to Vendors in a timely manner while complying with RBI regulations.
  • Co-ordination with cross functional teams (Commercial, Marketing, Regulatory, HR, Admin teams) for smooth functioning of business operations.
  • Support Country Manager with info, data and slides for monthly/quarterly meetings.
  • Oversee projects to improve profitability and departmental cost control.
  • Support Business team members regarding pricing and evaluation of the price change proposals (including reference pricing norms).
  • Liaisoning with different functions at Head Office (Treasury, Taxation, Demand Planning, Logistics, Insurance, Operations etc) in order to support business.
  • Ad hoc queries from Business stakeholders present in countries.
  • Support in finalisation of business and commercial agreements by providing inputs.

Qualification

CA with 4 - 5 years of post qualification experience
