• Minimum 2 years of experience in Core Finance and Accounting.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and compliance, ideally within a
SaaS or technology company.
• Strong understanding of the Finance and Accounting industry, including key players and
trends.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to handle
multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and strong Excel
skills. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Indian accounting standards, and compliance
regulations in both regions.
• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and ability to work with large data
sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional
teams across geographies.
Finance & Accounting:
• Financial Close: Manage day-to-day accounting tasks for the entire group, including
bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting. Support the monthly and quarterly
closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Should
be able to independently prepare consolidated financial reports at group level.
• Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate recording and reporting of revenue per SaaS
revenue recognition principles and accounting standards (ASC 606).
• Accounts Payable/Receivable Management: Oversee invoicing, payments, and
collections to maintain healthy cash flow across various platforms like Quickbooks and
Chargebee.
• Expense Management: Review and process expenses in alignment with company
policies and budgets on platforms like QuickBooks, Bill.com and Zoho books.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, working with
departmental heads to track expenses and manage budget allocations across all the entities.
Sales Tax, Cross Border Taxes and Indirect Taxation
Key
Responsibilities:
• Oversee U.S. sales tax compliance and Cross Border Tax compliances in other
international territories, including the application of sales and cross border tax rules
across multiple states and regions on platforms like QuickBooks and Avalara.
• Collaborate with tax consultants to ensure compliance with country or state-specific tax
laws, filing requirements, and timely payment.
• Ensure accurate VAT/GST filings and assist with registrations in other jurisdictions as
required by business growth.
Cross-Border Collaboration:
• Intercompany Transactions: Manage intercompany transactions and allocations
between the parent and subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing
regulations.
• Reporting: Provide financial data and reports to the U.S. headquarters, including financial
statements, cash flow forecasts, and ad hoc analysis as requested.
• Process Improvement: Work with global finance teams to enhance processes and
implement automation tools where possible to improve efficiency.
Compliance & Audit:
• Statutory Compliance (India): Ensure compliance with Indian regulatory requirements,
including GST, TDS, and other statutory filings like transfer pricing.Why Join Us
