General Analytics (GA) Manager / Senior Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Analytics professional with a strong background in banking and financial services. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SQL, data analytics, stakeholder management, and business problem-solving. Candidates from Tier-1 institutes are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable business insights.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reporting.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving customer experience, risk management, and operational efficiency.
• Generate actionable insights from data and translate analytical findings into strategic business recommendations that drive revenue growth, customer engagement, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and identify trends, patterns, and business drivers.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, technology, risk, and operations.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related domains.
• Strong banking/financial services industry experience (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Cards, Lending, Risk, Fraud, Customer Analytics, etc.).
• Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience working with large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree from a Tier-1 institution.
• Exposure to customer analytics, risk analytics, portfolio analytics, or regulatory reporting.
• Experience leading analytics projects and managing client/business stakeholders.
