Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating banking-related export and

import documentation, ensuring compliance with RBI regulations, clearing

EDPMS/IDPMS entries, handling LCs, TTs, and BRCs, and maintaining accurate financial

records and sheets. This role plays a key part in facilitating smooth financial operations

for Indian and Merchant Trade Transactions (MTT).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Follow up on negotiating documents within banks.

Resolve queries raised by the bank on Mark-off documents for both Indian

and Merchant Trade Transaction (MTT) documents.

Prepare BRC (Bank Realization Certificate) for Indian shipments.

Handle import payments .

Lodge Letters of Credit (LC) from the bank.

Assist in replying to RBI for MTT defaults.

Prepare and process Telegraphic Transfers (TT) in the bank.

Provide debit advice to the accounts department.

Manage and monitor all foreign exchange transactions.

Monitor exchange rate movements and suggest hedging strategies.

Handle the process of export factoring with financial institutions.

Liaise with banks/NBFCs for factoring documentation, approvals, and fund

flow.

Identify and implement improvements in the cash handling and payment

process.Provide regular reports to the Director on payment process

efficiency.

Track e-auctions conducted by banks/government agencies.Collect detailed

information about listed properties and present feasibility assessments to

management.

Responsible for the online issuance and timely filing of Electronic Bank

Realization Certificates (eBRCs).

Ensure full compliance with DGFT requirements for exports and import

JOB SPECIFICATIONS,KRA,QUALIFICATION & JOB REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration with minimum

age needs to be 40 years.

18 years of minimum experience in banking documentation or export-import

operations

Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Experience with ERP systems.

Should have a go getter attitude.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Master OF Business Administration (M.B.A)
