We are an agnostic EV charging software platform building India's largest smart and affordable EV charging network. Kazam is enabling fleet companies, charge point operators, OEMs by providing affordable and complete software stack like white label template app (both android & iOS), API integration, load management solution & charger monitoring dashboard so that you can do hassle-free business without worrying about technology. (Please note that you can use both Kazam chargers and OCPP enabled charging points via our platform). Not only that, we are able to drive utilisation to your charging station leveraging Kazam's network for 50,000+ EV drivers. Through our partnerships with Fleets, CPOs, RWAs and OEMs we have been able to create a robust charging network with over 11000+ devices on our platform.

About the Role:

As a member of the ESG & ISO MS team, the candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing the company's commitment to embedding sustainability into the very fabric of its business operations across various sectors. The position is situated in Bangalore, India.

Responsible For

Contribute to Kazam's ESG & ISO Management System framework, processes, policies, tools with Department Heads & management teams, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Assess E&S risks, compliance gaps, opportunities based on international, national, local regulations.

Ensure accurate ESG risk assessment, integrate ESG processes across business teams.

Collaborate to develop and implement IMS, align with industry standards, regulatory requirements.

Conduct internal audits to assess IMS effectiveness, compliance.

Stay updated on regulations, standards, best practices for ESG & IMS.

Keep ESG methodologies up to date, align with standards, regulations.

Develop training programmers on IMS & ESG, educate employees on processes, role.

Contribute to reporting framework on ESG risk/performance, calculate ESG data, performance indicators.

Prepare ESG-DD reports with recommendations for ESG compliance and integration.

Prepare Environmental and Social Action Plans (ESAPs) based on auditor or Investor recommendations.

Understand internal reporting requirements, complete reports (ESG Performance Indicator, monthly and quarterly).

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Social Sciences, Safety Engineering, or related field.

2-4 years experience in Environmental & Social Management System, Water assessments, waste assessments, social and labour/work risk assessments.

Understanding of IFC Performance Standards and National E&S regulations.

ISO 9001 & 45001 & 14001 auditor training and experience beneficial.

Experience in conducting site assessments and stakeholder consultations plus.

Proven ability to write concise, well-structured due diligence reports for investors and regulatory agencies.

Analytical mindset to assess risk and develop practical mitigation strategies.

Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with clients and internal teams.
