Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and proactive ServiceNow Technical Consultant ITOM. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of the ServiceNow ITOM suite, ensuring seamless integration with broader IT Service Management processes and tools.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact ITOM solutions that drive operational visibility, performance, and efficiency across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM modules, including:
- Discovery
- Service Mapping
- Event Management
- Cloud Management
- Customize and configure ServiceNow components using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, and UI Policies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and align ITOM capabilities with business needs
- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with CMDB, ITSM, and third-party monitoring tools
- Perform health checks, gap analyses, and optimizations of current ITOM implementations
- Assist in the creation of technical documentation, design artifacts, and test plans
- Troubleshoot and resolve ITOM-related issues
- Stay current with the latest ServiceNow platform updates, releases, and best practices
- Support presales and scoping efforts, if required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10-12 years of IT experience, with at least 7 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically in ITOM modules
- Strong technical expertise in:
- Discovery & MID Server deployment
- Service Mapping & CMDB architecture
- Event Management and integrations
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), Flow Designer, and Integration Hub
- Good understanding of ITIL/ITSM concepts and CMDB design
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage client interactions
Preferred Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM
