About the Company

Zuppa Geo Navigation Technologies Pvt Ltd is a Chennai-based technology company

specializing in high-precision IoT and navigation systems. We are expanding our

electronics manufacturing ecosystem and are looking for an experienced professional to

drive outsourced production, vendor management, and material procurement

ensuring seamless end-to-end delivery from vendor floor to final testing at Zuppa HQ.

Role Overview

The role involves leading the complete outsourcing process of electronic assemblies, from

vendor identification, sourcing, and procurement to production coordination and

delivery management.

All testing, calibration, and quality validation will be carried out internally at the Zuppa

Head Office.

You'll act as the bridge between engineering, procurement, and contract manufacturers,

ensuring timely, cost-efficient, and quality-assured production output.

Key Responsibilities

Lead vendor evaluation, onboarding, and management for outsourced electronics

assembly and sub-system manufacturing.

Drive end-to-end procurement from BOM validation, RFQs, cost negotiation,

and PO execution to vendor delivery.

Plan and track production schedules, material flow, and component dispatch to

EMS partners.

Ensure adherence to quality standards, delivery timelines, and cost targets at

vendor facilities.

Coordinate with QA and R&D teams for product testing and validation at Zuppa's

Head Office.

Manage vendor SLAs, agreements, and compliance documentation (ISO, RoHS,

etc.).

Monitor vendor performance metrics OTIF, rejection %, lead time, and cost

variance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives for vendor efficiency and cost

optimization.

Support new product introduction (NPI) by aligning vendors to design and

production requirements.

Required Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or ECE.

1014 years of experience in EMS / Electronics Manufacturing / Vendor

Development / Outsourced Production.

Proven expertise in procurement, material planning, BOM management, and

vendor operations.

Strong understanding of PCB assembly, SMT processes, and component sourcing.

Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 systems and quality documentation.

Hands-on with ERP tools, MS Project, or equivalent systems for vendor tracking.
