Manager - Electrical

§ Identify, troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on plant facilities and production equipment and ensure to reduce the production breakdown time.

§Perform preventative maintenance as per defined interval / schedule and maintain documents.

§ Minimize breakdowns; provide un-interrupted power supply and service.

§ Coordinate with production team and other departments for timely rectification of electrical related issues.

§ Ensure timely placement of PO, follow-up with vendor for getting materials delivered to each units and manage to get the equipments ready within a given time frame.

§ Perform monitoring of indents raised from each unit and, follow-up with Vendors and prevent the cost spent on repeat buyout items.

§ Perform study of Energy consumption on Power Bills, Diesel bills, Spares bills and ensure to take steps for Power conservation/Energy management and improve efficiency. Maintain amount saved and energy saved for the same.

§ Maintain documentation for periodical Electrical Inspectorate visits, timely payments of tax on DG set generation, Licenses status for all Electricians, Calibration of equipments / meters / instruments.

§ Manage Electricians and mobilize the equipments for achieving power requirements as per the new changes required for Production as per new layouts for all facilities within given timeline.

§ Carry out internal inspections in order to ensure all the SOPs are being followed and maintained.

§ Maintain electrical inventory for all the units.

§ Avoid dead inventory, dispose of electrical scrap as per the waste management policy and maintain critical electrical spares to meet emergency breakdowns.

§ Identifying potential candidates and training them up and improving their competencies in order meet the organizational requirements.

§ Creating an environment such that the team members can take up higher / additional responsibilities.

§ Maintain perfect wire routing with proper graded accessories without joints to ensure electrical safety.

§ Adoption of new inventions and methodologies to stay in par with latest technology.

§ Higher capacity boilers like 1 ton, 3 ton, briquette boilers have to be maintained as per the manual and local government regulations to avoid any deviations / accidents.

a. Strong Electrical repair / troubleshooting and functional knowledge of Electrical Equipments.

b. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization both written and verbal; includes building relationships with team lead and department Manager.

c. Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem solving skills.

d. To work both independently and in team to achieve efficiency and competency.
