We are seeking an experienced
Manager - Contracts to join our Contracts Management team in Pune. The ideal candidate will independently manage endtoend contracting operations, produce highquality clientready work, and collaborate effectively across global teams. This role requires strong drafting, redlining, negotiation, and legal triage expertise across a broad range of commercial agreements.
Responsibilities
- Review, draft, redline, and negotiate commercial contracts including: NDAs, Software License Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Vendor Services Agreements, MSAs, SOWs, Lease Agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Manage the endtoend contract lifecycle: intake, triage, drafting, negotiation, execution, obligation tracking, renewals, and terminations.
- Triaging incoming legal requests, evaluating completeness, urgency, and complexity, and allocating matters using SOPs and playbooks.
- Conduct matter complexity assessment using defined parameters and escalation frameworks.
- Maintain timely and professional stakeholder communication in accordance with SLAs (acknowledgments, followups, escalations, clarifications).
- Work with AIenabled contract tools, CLM platforms, automation tools, and analytics insights to optimize processes.
- Develop SOPs, provide enduser training, and promote CLM tool adoption across teams.
- Support multilevel quality control processes (QC1/QC sampling, error trends, compliance).
- Collaborate as part of a global team and support colleagues across multiple contract workflows.
- Manage multiple deadlines while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and delivery excellence.
What will help you succeed in this role
Essential
- 5-7 years of proven experience in reviewing, redlining, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Excellent English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong legal acumen with attention to detail and high process orientation.
- Experience with data extraction, legal operations workflows, and contract analytics.
- Ability to work in fastpaced, multicultural environments.
- Experience in a law firm or inhouse legal team is a strong advantage.
- Team player with strong stakeholder management skills.
