How will you make an impact in this role

The Manager, Compliance and Reporting will lead the newly established Compliance pillar within Enablement Operations, GMNS Product. This role supports the Partner and Product Enablement team and provides end to end risk management oversight for critical PPE processes.

The individual will oversee risks, operational risk events, issues, audits, and remediation delivery. The role requires proactive risk identification, gap analysis, and policy adherence across BCP, RCSA, and PRSA, including support for PRSA refreshes and RCSA transition readiness. The Manager will own compliance reporting, data governance, retention practices, and governance forums.

This role will also oversee compliance and regulatory reporting requirements and support critical internal and external audits, including FRB, RBI, IAG, and other regulatory reviews. This leader will partner closely with PPE Directors, Control Managers, and key stakeholders to implement new processes, streamline remediation efforts, strengthen controls, and enable effective change management. The role serves as a subject matter expert for risk management and ensures PPE teams are educated through clear reporting, insights, and timely escalation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate compliance and regulatory reporting activities and support high priority audits and regulatory examinations including FRB, RBI, IAG, and other internal and external reviews
  • Lead end to end issue and Operational Risk Event oversight for PPE teams
  • Influence and support teams in the remediation of issues and operational risk events
  • Facilitate investigations and conduct root cause analysis, particularly for recurring issues
  • Perform quality assurance reviews on issue and ORE documentation, including impact and severity assessments
  • Establish strong reporting mechanisms to track risk events and issues across PPE
  • Publish monthly Compliance Dashboards and PPE Compliance Reports
  • Analyse trends to identify systemic risks and control weaknesses within Partner and Product Enablement processes
  • Support PRSA refresh activities and RCSA transition readiness
  • Strengthen adherence to BCP, RCSA, and PRSA frameworks
  • Support and enhance the end to end issue resolution process, embedding accountability and integrating lessons learned into future risk practices
  • Perform sample testing to ensure remediation actions are complete and effective
  • Recommend control enhancements and preventive measures
  • Build and expand in house automation such as attestations and deadline based alerts to proactively reduce control gaps
  • Drive reduction in Operational Risk Events through preventive and corrective actions
  • Maintain transparency and accountability through strong documentation and governance practices
  • Engage with business partners, compliance, and leadership to facilitate effective issue resolution
  • Provide detailed reporting and insights to leadership and governance forums
  • Share themes, insights, and better practices across the enterprise

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Operational Risk Management, Risk and Control Management, Internal Audit, or related functions
  • Strong understanding of operational risk lifecycle activities
  • Demonstrated experience managing risks, issues, audits, and remediation processes
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in process governance aligned with policies, regulatory frameworks, and operational standards
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify trends and evaluate risk scenarios

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field
  • Advanced degree such as MBA or relevant certifications preferred
  • Experience in financial services
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Scoping, prioritizing, and supporting remediation of operational issues
  • Conducting root cause analysis for recurring operational risk issues
  • Performing quality assurance reviews on operational risk documentation
  • Overseeing process remediation for operational risk issues and events
  • Maintaining documentation and records to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Supporting end to end issue resolution processes and embedding lessons learned into future risk management practices
