How will you make an impact in this role
This position is within Sales Enablement, Pricing & Transformation (SPT), which is a part of the Global Commercial Services (GCS) organization focused on building & deploying capabilities to support Amex GCS colleagues globally.
This role operates in a fast-paced, decision-driven environment and is ideal for a candidate who thrives in an energetic, Agile setting. The successful candidate will excel at building strong relationships with business partners and collaborating across teams.
The position involves partnering with diverse stakeholders to gather and clarify reporting requirements, translating business needs into actionable plans, and ensuring alignment with the team. You will clearly communicate requirements, establish timelines, and drive execution to achieve defined goals.
Active collaboration across the broader team and effectively communicating project updates to leadership in various forums are critical components of this role.
Temporary Work Assignment (7 months), Manager, Digital Product Management
Key Responsibilities
.Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.
.Design innovative, cost-effective, and scalable solutions that can be leveraged across the organization.
.Collaborate with cross-functional partners across American Express to gather requirements, quantify benefits, and drive alignment toward a shared future-state vision.
.Translate business and stakeholder needs into clearly defined product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
.Prioritize product initiatives using a data-driven approach, balancing customer experience, business value, and technical feasibility.
.Establish, monitor, and analyze product performance metrics to measure success, inform decision-making, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
.Collaborate closely with the team to strengthen quality controls, ensure data integrity, and design automated processes that enable accurate and reliable data publication.
Required Qualifications:
Deep and broad expertise in data analysis with very good understanding of client incentive process and Tableau reporting and analysis tool
Ability to build strong relationships, operate effectively within large cross-functional teams, and influence business partners to drive transformational change
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and design industry leading solutions
Understanding of Scaled Agile (SAFe) principles and experience effectively managing a backlog of competing initiatives desirable
Experience on working with Cloud platforms, Cornerstone Data, SAS/SQL, Hive preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of Tableau with experience developing complex reports is preferred Agile certification is a plus.
