Job Context & Major Challenges

1. Data quality issues: The master data is not in a very good shape, thereby limiting the depth of reporting. Further, not all data is system based, thus introducing an additional layer of complication

2. Requirement delivery: The BI requirements often change during the course of delivery as new nuances surface up. Steering the project to completion in the midst of all the unknowns is a challenge

3. Adoption: Once delivered, defining new ways of working, change management and consistent usage of reports are the biggest challenges

4. Ops excellence: With an already huge list of active reports and dashboards, it is imperative for the candidate to ensure ops best practices are implemented so that there are no cost escalations as well as performance degradation.

Principal Accountabilities

Stakeholder Management

Liaise with Senior managers and leadership

Set up review and meeting Cadence

Seek Feedback Requirements Gathering

BRD

Working with business users and help them fill BRD documents

Convert Business requirements to Tech specs Software Development and Delivery

Work with IT and Data Teams to plan, build, test and deliver software to business users

Drive UAT and implementation/deployment

Mandatory Tech skills:

SQL, Power BI or equivalent reporting tool, Advanced Excel

Good to have: Microsoft BI Stack, Exposure to Azure/AWS

Manage several projects (Program) Driving Adoption among businesses

User Training and Adoption drives
