The company organizes four premier industry events

  1. Retail Jeweller India Awards (Mumbai), one of India's most prestigious awards for jewellery retailers on Design Excellence,
  2. Retail Jeweller India Forum alongwith MD&CEO Leadership Awards (Mumbai), a conference featuring Jewellery industry leaders of India
  3. Retail Jeweller South Forum and Awards (Benguluru) ; a conference featuring Jewellery industry leaders of South India
  4. Retail Jeweller Middle East Forum and Awards (Dubai, UAE); A conference featuring Jewellery industry leaders of Middle East

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai for a Manager - Delegate Acquisition (Conferences & Awards Participants). The responsibilities of this role include strategically drive, scale, and convert high-quality delegates and award participants (Jewellery retailers, manufacturers, CEOs, CXOs, decision-makers) for conferences, forums, and awardsensuring full houses, premium audience mix, and strong sponsor value.

1. Delegate Acquisition
  • Build and execute delegate acquisition strategy for each conference & awards property
  • Define target profiles (Retailers, Brands, Manufacturers, Wholesalers, CEOs, CXOs)
  • Achieveevent-wise acquisition targets from Jewellery industry data of The Retail Jeweller Magazine readership base and previous events
  • Convert leads generated by Marketing team
2. Data, Outreach & Conversion
  • Own and grow delegate databases (India & Middle East)
  • Drive multi-channel outreach:
  • Tele-calling & relationship teams
  • WhatsApp & email campaigns
  • Social & LinkedIn outreach
  • Track leads conversations confirmations attendance

3. Awards Participation & Applications
  • Drive award nominations, applications, and submissions
  • Ensure category-wise participation targets
  • Educate prospects on criteria, benefits, and credibility
  • Coordinate with jury & content teams for smooth processing
4. Paid Delegate & VIP Management
  • Convert paid delegate passes where applicable
  • Structure pricing, slabs, and deadlines
  • Manage VIP, invite-only & complimentary allocations

5. Sponsor Value Delivery
  • Align delegate profiles with sponsor expectations
  • Ensure right audience mix for networking & lead generation
  • Support sponsor commitments:
  • One-on-one meetings
  • Closed-door sessions
  • Buyer interaction quotas

6. Team Leadership & Performance
  • Lead delegate acquisition & tele-relationship team of 2 people reporting to this position
  • Define daily/weekly KPIs:
  • Calls made
  • Conversations
  • Confirmations
  • Drop-offs
  • Monitor conversion ratios & productivity

7. MIS, Tracking & Reporting
  • Maintain real-time MIS dashboards
  • Track:
  • City-wise & category-wise delegates
  • Paid vs complimentary
  • Awards entries by category
  • Share weekly progress reports with leadership
8. Retention & Relationship Building
  • Ensure high repeat attendance year-on-year
  • Build long-term relationships with top retailers & decision-makers
  • Manage post-event feedback & engagement

Other Details

  1. Office is based in Phoenix Marketcity Mall compled at Paragon Plaza, Kurla West
  2. Office works 10.30 am to 6.30 pm; 5-days a week
  3. Salary as per Industry Standards; With Special Incentive Structure for this position.
  4. A team of 2 Junior Executives report to this position.
  5. Family Medical Insurance is provided of INR 5 Lakhs after completion of 6 months probation
  6. Mobile Phone expenses are taken care off by company
