About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
Develop and manage data storage solutions using Azure Blob Storage, Data Lake, and Azure SQL Database.
Integrate external and internal APIs for seamless data ingestion and transformation.
Build and optimize data models and data warehouses using Azure Synapse Analytics.
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring high availability and performance.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices across Azure services.
Automate data workflows and support CI/CD practices for data engineering solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Azure cloud technologies.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
Proficiency in API integration (REST, JSON, OAuth, etc.).
Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT concepts.
Experience with Azure Storage Accounts (Blob, Data Lake Gen2).
Proficient in SQL, Python, or PowerShell for data manipulation and automation.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certification.
Experience with Databricks, Power BI, or Azure Purview.
Knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
