Manager – India Cross-Border Operations responsible for end-to-end origin logistics, 3PL and fleet management, and driving KPI-led performance, cost efficiency, and SLA adherence in e-commerce cross-border operations.

  • Manage end-to-end origin operations for assigned cross-border lane(s).
  • Ensure smooth consolidation operation, load planning, dispatch, and handover to linehaul partners.
  • Monitor daily KPIs (TAT, Process adherence, FIFO, connection time) and drive SLA adherence.
  • Oversee 3PL consolidation center, first-mile and International Linehaul operations
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual SLAs and operational standards.
  • Manage intracity first-mile pickup using dedicated fleet (5–10 vehicles)
  • Optimize route planning, vehicle utilization, and pickup success rates.
  • Liaise and onboard vendors to ensure adequate capacity deployment.
  • Lead and supervise operations team
  • Drive productivity, accountability, and manpower planning aligned with volumes.
  • Implement new processes, SOPs, and products as guided by central team.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and execute improvement initiatives.
  • Track and analyze operational KPIs and prepare structured performance reports.
  • Share regular updates, insights, and action plans with leadership.
  • Align vehicle, manpower, and linehaul capacity with forecasted volumes.
  • Plan buffers for peak seasons, public holidays, and contingencies.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, customs, and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, take end-to-end ownership of operational issues, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders to enable seamless execution of cross-border operations.
  • Monitor lane-level cost performance and optimize cost
  • Validate vendor billing and support cost-control initiatives.
  • Identify key issues and work with stakeholders in fix the issue with a long-term approach.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations management, preferably Master's degree as well
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in E-commerce, total 5 years of work experience
  • Strong understanding of cross-border and e-commerce logistics operations
  • Experience managing 3PL vendors and fleet operations
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (data modeling, pivot tables, dashboards, performance tracking Strong data analysis and reporting capability
  • Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction and operational analysis
  • Structured problem-solving capability, excellent analytical skills as well as strong business acumen
  • Strong multi-stakeholder management and communication skills, KPI management and data-driven decision-making ability
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments, strong experience in working as a business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives which help to improve organization financial performance
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability as a passionate people-centric leader who can effectively drive results in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company.
