Job Description

Job Summary:

The Manager – Credit Sales is responsible for driving sales targets and expanding the lending portfolio by acquiring new SME/MSME borrowers. The role includes managing the end-to-end loan lifecycle from lead generation to disbursal while ensuring credit approvals and maintaining portfolio quality. The position demands close coordination with cross-functional teams and a strong understanding of B2B lending products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • build a high-quality sales funnel in collaboration with the demand generation team
  • drive key sales metrics such as new borrower onboarding, processing fees, disbursal volumes, and aum utilization
  • manage the complete credit sales cycle from lead qualification to documentation and disbursal
  • coordinate with credit teams for quick and efficient loan approvals
  • ensure portfolio health through timely renewals and collections
  • work with internal stakeholders across credit, operations, and tech to deliver a seamless lending experience
  • function as an individual contributor with growth opportunities into team leadership based on performance
  • adapt to a fast-paced, startup-like environment and contribute to strategic initiatives

Skills Required:

credit sales, business development, sme lending, msme finance, supply chain finance, channel finance, term loans, wcdl, vendor finance, client acquisition, portfolio management, stakeholder management, fintech sales

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in nbfc or fintech credit sales
  • strong knowledge of sme/msme lending products and working capital finance
  • proven experience in b2b lending sales and credit lifecycle management
  • excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • ability to independently manage a portfolio and contribute to business growth
