Job Description

Broad outline of the Role
This role is responsible for ensuring all legal aspects of commercial matters in that particular region are handled in a swift, efficient and cost effective manner

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
  1. Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B)
  2. 7-10 years of experience in commercial contract law, preferably in a corporate setting.
  3. Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and risk management.
  4. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment

Other Knowledge & Skills
To deliver efficient and high-quality legal support by managing contract workflows, managing shared mailbox operations, and ensuring timely triaging of requests across global regions. The Manager will assist in drafting and reviewing key legal documents, support cross-functional teams, and contribute to smooth onboarding and training of team members, while maintaining responsiveness, accountability and accuracy in their approach.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Stakeholder Management: Building trust with internal teams, including procurement, sales, finance, and HR.
  2. Negotiation Skills: Balancing legal protection with commercial flexibility during contract negotiations.
  3. Clear Legal Communication: Translating complex legal language into understandable terms for non-legal stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Critical for reviewing contracts and identifying potential risks or inconsistencies.
  4. Adaptability & Agility: Navigating changing business environments, priorities, and legal landscapes.
  5. Upholding ethical standards and acting as a trusted advisor to the business.
  6. Provide day-to-day legal assistance to global commercial and procurement legal teams.Support business and user teams in finalizing legal documentation such as restructuring documents, contract amendments, and vendor/customer agreements.
