Key Responsibilities
- Setup and own functioning of all accounting aspects. Help in developing policies, setup scalable processes, ensure timely book closure, inventory management/accounting
- Responsible for ensuring that revenue is recognized accurately and in accordance with accounting standards (IFRS 15 internationally). Identify and resolve revenue-related issues and discrepancies, and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Must have experience in Balance sheet reconciliation, Balance sheet review, unbilled revenue, invoicing, knowledge of GST
- Manage various audit support e.g. Integral, external, etc
- Handling Supplier/dropshipper payouts on a regular basis. Review and analysis of various type of payments
- Review of system generated reports and manual calculations and ensuring right pay-outs are processed on a timely basis
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments
- Undertake various analysis and reconciliation of different types of payments on a regular basis
- Ability to make reconciliation of payment received from various payment gateways
- Ability to reconcile COD amount collectable from logistic companies with books of account & resolve variations, if any on timely basis
- Internal coordination with business teams and understanding their requirements
- Working with data science team and IT team on providing data level requirements and identification and communication of issues
- Should have experience in raising of E-invoices/CNs
- Should have knowledge of TDS, GST,TDS
Qualifications & skills required
- CA with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience/ Bachelor's or Associates degree in accounting, finance, or related field with 7+ years of experience
- Experience in E-commerce industry is a must
- Advanced knowledge of excel is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and able to consistently and timely produce quality & accurate
work
