Responsibilities, aka, what we'd like you to deliver :
- Maintain and oversee the general ledger to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
- Oversee the complete Payroll accounting Process (including ESOP) for Zepto group in compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Ensuring compliance of all the Payroll related areas including Actuarial Valuation
- Governance of company's G&A cost including employee & other cost.
- Ensuring Capitalisation of Technology cost working with Tech team to identify the projects for capitalisation
- Ensuring Governance of ESOPs including analysis & projection of ESOP expenses.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
- Prepare audit schedules and documentation to support the audit process.
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Coordinate with external auditors (Big Four firms) to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Are you who we're searching for
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4+ years of relevant experience in payroll accounting and financial reporting
- Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processes, including compliance and reconciliations
- Good understanding of accounting standards, audits, and statutory requirements related to payroll
