Energy Efficiency Consultant
An energy efficiency Consultant is an Individual contributor with team responsibilities for technical advocacy. The ideal candidate will perform dual roles and he/she should have in-depth knowledge of Industry, Utility, Data center infrastructure, electrical system, critical power, cooling and monitoring systems. In the primary role, the candidate will be working to execute the Energy Efficiency & Sustainability consulting services in country and analyze modernization opportunities received from various sources and take ownership in preparing and reaching out to develop the Audit and Modernization offers for customers. The secondary role is to work on E2E responsibility as Consultant for clients & provide meaningful solution. Capable to do project planning, scheduling, measuring, ownership and delivery. The role also includes delivery of audit reports & prepare recommendations. This position will be reporting to country Consulting organization
Essential responsibilities:
- Analyzes historical data from various data aggregation system and prepare assessment reports.
- Provide recommendation for efficiency and availability improvements and highlight problem areas that require attention
- Identify all pre-requisite for project execution (site layouts, data, design documents, SLD's, product specification document etc.) and flag any constraints that might impact the desired customer expectations.
- Analyzing data center related information from on-site cooling, power, environmental control infrastructure and physical space to provide assessment report with energy saving retrofits and resilience improvements.
- Guide distributed stake holders for project execution and data gathering, provide training/support for the team or help in facilitating the same.
- Generates an implementation plan with timelines for the solutions and delivery
- Anticipate potential challenges for the proposed project plan and plans for competitive threats
- Actively identify opportunities to assist peers regionally in area of expertise (e.g., pre-sales support)
- Maintains excellent communications with assigned key contacts of project across the region
- Fare enough idea on mechanical, thermal, and other utility energy for measurement.
- Should have adequate knowledge on cooling system.
- Power flow analysis in electrical distribution system, understanding electrical demand side management and improve power usage effectiveness for the customer
- Cooling efficiency evaluation (Chillers and DX based system) and identify energy conservation measures.
- Field experience on Installation/Commissioning/Quality control of critical assets (Power, cooling) is a plus
- Well-versed with MS office packages especially MS word and Excel for report preparation and analysis customers
Education & Skills:
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical)
- Preferred Certification CDCP, Uptime, DCU
- Should have BEE certification
