Job Description

Job Description / Key Responsibilities

Oversee domestic insurance and reinsurance compliance, including management of receivables, payables, and timely policy renewals, with involvement in overseas health policies as a reinsurer.

Maintain end-to-end control over receivables, payables, and financial reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, timely closure, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Design and manage a brokerage recovery mechanism, achieving a significant reduction in outstanding payment turnaround time from over 9 months to under 3 months.

Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and MIS preparation to support strategic planning and business performance evaluation.

Track and interpret domestic and international regulatory updates, ensuring full compliance with insurance and reinsurance requirements.

Coordinate with insurance companies across Gujarat for payable processing, reconciliations, renewals, and operational execution.

Partner with internal and external auditors, prepare audit schedules and documentation, and ensure timely and accurate audit closure.

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, assess risks, and recommend cost-optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.

Drive process improvements in accounting and operations through automation, reconciliation strengthening, and workflow optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage claims, policy endorsements, and client queries with a focus on accuracy and turnaround time.

Oversee field administration and operational activities, ensuring effective documentation control and smooth daily operations.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory frameworks, and statutory requirements across all financial and operational functions.

Maintain structured records, reports, and documentation to support audits, compliance, and operational transparency.

Enable interdepartmental coordination and issue resolution, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

Demonstrate clear, professional communication with clients, insurers, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

Foster team discipline, accountability, and collaboration, contributing to overall operational excellence.

Experience Required

810 years of relevant experience in insurance, reinsurance, insurance brokerage, or financial operations

Extensive hands-on exposure to receivables, payables, reconciliations, compliance, and audit coordination

Proven experience in process improvement, financial control, and stakeholder management

Prior experience handling regulatory compliance and insurer coordination is essential
