Role Overview
The Collection Strategy Manager is a highly analytical, execution-focused role responsible for driving daily collections performance through advanced reporting, automation, and scorecard development. This role partners closely with internal teams and third-party agencies, using data and technology to ensure performance transparency, accountability, and continuous optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Own daily, weekly, and monthly collections performance reporting across all delinquency stages.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze large collections datasets.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reports and scorecards.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to leadership and operations teams.
Scorecard Development & Performance Management
- Design and manage performance scorecards for internal collectors and third-party agencies.
- Define KPIs, targets, and thresholds tied to SLAs, incentives, and compliance standards.
- Monitor agent- and agency-level performance, productivity, and quality metrics.
- Lead regular performance reviews with agencies and internal stakeholders.
Automation & Process Optimization
- Drive automation of recurring reports and manual processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with Data Engineering and IT teams to build automated data pipelines and reporting solutions.
- Support automation initiatives across dialers, digital collections channels, and self-service tools.
Required Qualifications
- 58 years of experience in collections.
- Strong hands-on technical expertise in:
- SQL (advanced querying, joins, performance optimization)
- Power BI and/or Tableau (dashboard design, data modeling, visualization best practices)
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
- Experience building automated reporting and performance scorecards.
- Solid understanding of collections KPIs, workflows, and compliance standards.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
