Role: Lead - Channel Data analytics.
Role and Responsibilities:
. 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Sales Reporting, Channel Insights and Team Leadership Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources.
. Build predictive models or statistical analyses when required.
. Present insights to senior management with clear visualizations and storytelling.
. Support data governance, data quality, and documentation initiatives. Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to optimize data processes.
. Analyse sales performance, channel effectiveness, and distribution data to drive revenue and growth strategies.
. Develop actionable insights from data trends across regions, channels, and products.
. Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports for sales and channel management teams.
. Identify gaps, opportunities, and emerging trends through deep-dive data analysis.
. Support channel expansion strategies through data-driven insights.
. Analyze partner performance and suggest improvement plans for sales productivity and channel
profitability
. Provide forecasts and demand planning insights to support business development and operations teams.
. Build and manage the BI framework to ensure consistent and reliable business reporting.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
. Lead the automation of regular reports and dashboards using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
. Ensure data accuracy, timely delivery of analytics reports, and stakeholder satisfaction.
. Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the team and sales functions
. Partner with senior sales leadership to translate business goals into measurable metrics.
. Develop and present analytical reports to management with clear recommendations.
. Continuously improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and analytical methodologies.
Key Skills & Competencies:
. Strong expertise in data visualization and BI tools - Power BI, Tableau, etc.
. Advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data modeling techniques.
. Experience in sales analytics, channel management, and revenue forecasting.
. Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
. Proven ability to manage and mentor analytics teams.
