Job Purpose: Team Member - Civil is responsible for the successful execution of civil projects by performing on-ground activities, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, assisting in progress tracking, and contributing to the overall efficiency and timely delivery of project objectives.

Responsibilities

Site Inspections and Assessments:

Conduct routine site visits to monitor ongoing work, ensure compliance with design specifications, and report deviations to the Project Head - CPCT.

Assist in gathering data for site evaluations, including soil analysis, material testing, and condition assessments.

Documentation And Reporting

Prepare and maintain logs, daily progress reports, and other documentation required for ongoing projects.

Assist in compiling reports on resource usage, work schedules, and discrepancies, ensuring accurate data for review.

Quality Assurance

Conduct basic quality checks on civil works to ensure adherence to project guidelines and standards.

Report observed defects or inconsistencies in materials or workmanship to the Project Head - CPCT for corrective action.

Coordination With Vendors And Contractors

Assist in coordinating with contractors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials and services as per project requirements.

Verify the availability of resources at the site and flag potential shortages to ensure smooth operations.

Safety And Compliance Monitoring

Ensure adherence to safety protocols at the site by conducting routine checks and reporting violations to the Project Head - CPCT.

Assist in implementing basic safety measures, such as installing signage and maintaining safety equipment.

Implementation Of Design And Plans

Follow instructions to execute tasks as per approved design plans and layouts provided by the engineering team.

Support in marking, layout, and alignment tasks under the supervision of the Project Head - CPCT or senior engineers.

Support In Project Execution

Perform manual and technical tasks, such as assisting in measurements, levelling, and surveying, as directed by the Project Head - CPCT.

Help in the setup and maintenance of project equipment and tools on-site.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with 10 years of relevant work experience. Advanced Diploma in QS / Construction Management from NICMAR/ IIT / equivalent will be added advantage

Certification in Sustainable Project Management or Quality Assurance (preferred).

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar software (preferred).

Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.

Work Experience

7 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on high-rise building design and construction.

3 years of experience in core QS / Billing Function
