Responsibilities
Business planning and category management for a large portfolio
Annual Operating Plan (Revenue, Margin, Discounts, etc.)
Monthly Operating Plans
Category and brand specific growth plan
P&L planning at category, brand level
Range, Assortment and OTB Planning
Assortment Planning Data Analysis, Insights Generation, Options Planning (Width, Depth)
OTB Planning at brand-category level, season planning
Range level planning support bets sizing, inventory planning
Effective planning and forecasting in order to maximize profitability
Competition / Market Analysis
Sales and Inventory Management
Planning for the inventory flow / DOH for entire category
Category Health Management STRs, DOH, Ageing, Portfolio Mix of Core / Fashion; Review and Course Corrections
Monthly Sales planning and execution coordination with sales and marketing teams
P&L metrics tracking
Team / Stakeholder Management - Working closely with buying, sourcing, brand, sales and planning teams for delivery of business plans
Projects Driving key initiatives / projects for category growth and profitability improvement across supply chain, planning, sales, etc.; Process Improvement across the value chain
Qualifications & Experience
4-6 years of experience in category management;
Some experience in fashion retail / brand management sector is preferred
Strong business acumen with excellent analytical and problem solving skills; Strong with numbers and in collecting, analysing and interpreting data
MBA from a top tier institute
Strong experience and skills in cross functional stakeholder management
