Manager - Ash Procurement

Key Responsibilities

Ash Sourcing

• Identify, negotiate, and secure fly ash and pond ash procurement agreements from multiple thermal power plants across regions.

Vendor & Plant Relations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with plant authorities and key vendors to ensure continuous and reliable supply.

Contract Management

• Develop, review, and manage procurement contracts, MoUs, and long-term supply agreements ensuring legal and commercial compliance.

Cost Optimization

• Analyze and monitor transportation and handling costs; collaborate with logistics teams to optimize freight, route planning, and bulk movement.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, government guidelines, and new ash sources to maintain a competitive edge.

Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with environmental, statutory, and internal audit requirements.

Coordination with Internal Teams

• Work closely with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely ash delivery, billing accuracy, and vendor payments.
