Primary Responsibilities
- Contract negotiations and management of existing contracts:
- Support IndiGos senior management in making key commercial decision with various Vendors
(Airbus, Pratt & Whitney, CFM, Rolls-Royce etc.)
- Liaison with various stake holders and ensure that the key commercial decision and operating
challenges are captured in the contract/amendments
- Own administration of contracts and ensure timely action for any information or decisions to be
taken as per timelines specified
- Troubleshooting for any issues in contract and maintaining constant dialogue with various
stakeholders
- Ensure correctness in computation of pricing, escalations, and liquidated damages under
various contracts
- Fleet planning and monitoring:
- Monitor aircraft deliveries and exits
- Modelling various long term growth scenarios as required by management
- Tracking various parameters on fleet as required by engine contracts
- Aircraft specification selections and performance analysis support:
- Liaise with various departments to elect specific items like international equipment etc. with
OEM and regularize on continuous basis various changes on aircraft (SCN/MSCNs)
- Analyzing LOPAs and analyse aircraft performance data which includes fuel burn, range etc.
- Financial modelling for various critical business decisions
- Number crunching/excel models to compare per month aircraft cost and various unit cost
metrics of various aircraft types in fleet, various engine maintenance costs, fuel burn etc.
- Modelling lessor maintenance reserves
- Preparation presentations required for senior management.
- Liaising with lessor on day-to-day basis for the aircraft maintenance events, LC
reconciliations etc.
