We are inviting applications for the role of Manager, - AI/ML Data Science Vertical!
The role of Data Science (AI/ML) Manager is to lead a team of data scientists and ML engineers to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to translate business challenges into scalable data-driven solutions.
Work location: Bangalore
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
.Manage and mentor a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and analysts.
.Align AI/ML initiatives with organizational priorities and business outcomes.
.Drive innovation by identifying emerging AI/ML technologies and use cases.
Project Delivery
.Oversee end-to-end delivery of AI/ML projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and ROI.
.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, technology, operations) to embed AI into workflows.
.Ensure models are production-ready, monitored, and continuously improved.
Technical Oversight
.Promote best practices in data engineering, feature engineering, and MLOps.
.Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and ethical AI standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
.Communicate complex AI/ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
.Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation.
.Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and impact.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification -
.Master's or Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field

Preferred qualifications:
.Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
.6+ years of experience in data science/analytics,
.Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and applied AI.
.Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and ML frameworks
.Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
.Track record of delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML projects

Technical skills:
.SQL, Python , PySpark, cloud Hadoop ecosystems, Databricks-style environments AI/ML Frameworks , Exposure to cloud platforms.
