Position: Manager - Agrochemical Formulations Supply

Job Overview
We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to build and scale our agrochemicals formulations from 0
1. This is a high-ownership role covering supply chain, RnD, strategic product selection et al.
You will work directly with the Founder to define strategy and drive execution. This role is ideal for
someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and wants to build from scratch.
This is not a maintenance role; this is a build mandate.
Key Requirements
3-5 years of experience in building supply partnerships in B2B startups / manufacturing
companies.
Proven ability to operate independently with a high-ownership mindset in fast-paced, ambiguous
environments.
Willingness to travel extensively across India to build and scale the supply on the ground.
Skills and Responsibilities
Formulation Sourcing & Contract Manufacturing
Identify, evaluate, and onboard toll manufacturing partners for agrochemical formulations
Negotiate commercial terms (pricing, MOQs, lead times) and build a diversified supplier base
across formulation types (EC, SC, WDG, SL)
Conduct facility audits for capability, capacity, and compliance
Product Pipeline & R&D Coordination
Translate product roadmap into manufacturing-ready formulations with R&D and the founder
Manage formulation trials, stability testing, and lab-to-commercial scale-up for new SKUs
Track TGAI sourcing and formulation economics to protect target margins
Quality & Regulatory
Define and enforce quality specs across all formulated products
Ensure compliance with CIB&RC registration specifications and support registration dossiers with
manufacturing data
Manage third-party testing relationships and documentation trails
Supply Planning
Own demand-supply planning aligned to Kharif/Rabi seasonal cycles
Manage production scheduling with contract manufacturers and optimize inventory and working
capital
Build buffer stock strategies for peak season SKUs
Cost & Margins
Drive cost reduction through alternate sourcing, process improvements, and volume
consolidation
Track landed cost per SKU and own supply-side gross margin reporting
