Job Description

SonyLIV is seeking an experienced Manager – Ad Sales (North – LCS), Digital Business. The primary role of the incumbent is to drive partial top-line and bottom-line responsibility for the Digital Business in the North India region.

POSITION SPECIFICATION

Education: MBA preferred

Experience: 7–12 years of total experience

Essential Expertise:

A background in digital advertising sales is preferred. Candidates with TV sales experience may also be considered, especially those with exposure to impact selling and large clients.

Desirable Experience:

Must be well-versed with client strategies and advertising agencies in North India, with strong agency and client contacts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maximize monetization opportunities by building and expanding the client base, while consistently creating demand for digital solutions.
  • Act as SonyLIV's ambassador in the market for owned agency relationships and be responsible for shaping long-term business plans to position SonyLIV as the preferred partner.
  • Strategize to secure a steady revenue base by acquiring long-term commitments.
  • Manage end-to-end stakeholder relationships with minimal supervision.
  • Develop preferred partnerships with top digital advertisers through strong understanding of brands, marketing plans, and past campaign performance, while ensuring seamless execution of deals.
  • Drive in-depth account management through customized properties, innovative deals, and digital brand solutions for key launches.
  • Build, manage, and scale a strong revenue pipeline across advertisers and agencies, while maintaining monthly Ad Sales revenue targets.
  • Execute effective sales planning aligned with seasonal trends to ensure optimal inventory utilization and maximize ROI.
  • Focus on account development to build long-term business associations with clients.
  • Conceptualize and implement innovative advertising packages to maximize revenue opportunities and accelerate business growth.
  • Drive results in a fast-paced, resource-conscious environment with a creative approach.
  • Maintain a healthy quarterly sales pipeline, proactively identifying roadblocks and suggesting alternate solutions.
