About the Role:
As a Manager in our Accounting team, you will play a crucial role in managing a team and ensuring the performance and results of your department. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing financial record-keeping, compliance, and the preparation of detailed financial statements. You will be accountable for driving efficiency and accuracy within your team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and adherence to best practices in accounting.
Responsibilities:
. Manage a team of accounting professionals and oversee their daily operations.
. Ensure the preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports.
. Maintain and enforce compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
. Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
. Oversee the reconciliation and maintenance of general ledger accounts.
. Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.
. Implement improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
. Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
. Provide guidance and training to team members.
. Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis.

What You'll Need:
Degree in accounting or finance
. Manages supervisory, professional and/or support employees within own discipline or function Is accountable for the performance and results of a department or area
. Provides direction based on general policies and management guidance recommends modifications to operating policies
. Assignments are received in task and objective oriented terms
. Adapts functional/departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges and objectives
. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
. Typically, accountable for a centralized functional activity
