Desired Skills and experience
- Around 7 12 years of ABAP experience with handling of FICO business related requirements and able to understand and communicate with Finance business users
- ABAP – 60% and FICO functional – 40% weightage handling
- Strong Communication skills
- Ability to do multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
- Strong object orientation experience
- Proficiency in system analysis, design, development and implementation
- Expert in implementation of various business applications on SAP R/3 environment
- Extensive working knowledge of ABAP workbench, Data Dictionary, Classical and Interactive Reports using ALV, Dialog Programming, Object Oriented Programming
- Extensive working knowledge in SAP Scripts, Smart Forms and ADOBE Forms
- Experience in Data Migration, Data Uploads using BDC and LSMW
- Expert in building Technical Design Documentation, Test Scripts, maintaining RICEFW matrices and Project/Team Management activities
- Expertise in ABAP Debugging, Performance Tools, Runtime Analysis, SQL Trace
- Expertise in development of RFC(Remote Function Call) , IDOCs handling, BDC
Roles and Responsibilities
- Discuss with Finance department users, understand and gather the requirement, discuss with create Business requirement document, guide the technical team and deliver the required application
- Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application
- issues and providing timely solutions.
- Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of development, system
- testing and implementation phases of project.
- Transform business function requirements into technical program specifications to code,
test and debug programs
- Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and
- acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
- Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions
- Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical
architecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA's.
- Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well
- as providing on call support as required by the team.
- Handling the tickets / issues from Client and complete in desired timeline to ensure Client satisfaction
- Prepare understanding of business document , technical specification and testing document for the development
- Testing scenario document preparation
- Handling of Transport request for the deployment of the objects developed through the tools like Solman(Solution Manager).
