Role Objective

The HR Trainee will support the People Operations team in executing end-to-end employee lifecycle activities. This role offers a 360-degree view of HR functions, ranging from aggressive talent acquisition to employee retention and compliance management. It is an ideal platform for final-semester MBA students to transition theoretical knowledge into high-impact organizational practice.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Sourcing

  • Campus Recruitment: Coordinate with college placement cells to schedule and execute Campus Drives.
  • Walk-in Management: Organize large-scale Walk-in Drives, managing candidate registration, initial screening, and logistics.
  • Sourcing: Utilize job portals, LinkedIn, and social media to build a robust pipeline for entry-level and technical roles.

2. Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Joining Formalities: Manage documentation for new hires, including Background Verification (BGV) triggers.
  • Induction: Conduct orientation sessions to integrate new employees into ADN's culture and departments.
  • Exit Process: Support Offboarding activities, including conducting exit interviews and coordinating Full & Final (F&F) settlements.

3. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Attendance & Leave: Monitor daily logs and manage leave requests through the HRMS.
  • HR Policies: Educate employees on company policies and ensure strict adherence to the Code of Conduct.
  • Benefits Administration: Support the management of health insurance, statutory benefits (PF/ESI), and other employee perks.

4. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Events: Conceptualize and execute monthly engagement activities, festival celebrations, and team-building exercises.
  • Grievance Handling: Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, ensuring timely and empathetic resolution.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in HR (Final Semester). A Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration is required.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Personnel Management, HR strategies, and core HR practices (Recruitment, Training, and Employee Relations).
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with HRMS tools is a plus.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
  • Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence (EQ), problem-solving abilities, and a people-first mindset.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are considered an advantage.
