The opportunity

As an Internal Design Engineer specializing in Transformer Design at the Global Engineering Center in Vadodara, India, you'll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, diversity, and collaboration. The Transformers Business Unit is leading the way in energy transformation, delivering advanced solutions across a wide range of industries.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experts from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared commitment to building a sustainable future.

How you'll make an impact

  • The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Oil Power Transformer design covering different countries.
  • Responsible for Internal design of the transformer including cleats and leads and or core, Active part and windings design according to factory limitation, guideline, and checklist.
  • Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.
  • Participation in internal design concept reviews.
  • Demonstrate team building skills and networking skills.
  • Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • B.E / B. Tech Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge on Microsoft office and tools.
  • Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
